ANNOUNCING Togo-L

Togo-L is an electronic mail discussion list sponsored by the Friends of
Togo, Inc. (FoT), a non-profit educational and service organization
created in 1981. Togo-L is a means to communicate rapidly, frequently,
and conveniently about Togo and about FoT via electronic mail
("e-mail"). As a subscriber to Togo-L, when you send an e-mail message
to the Togo-L e-mail address, your e-mail message will be automatically
re-sent to the e-mail addresses of all Togo-L subscribers. You will
receive via e-mail all messages "posted" to the list by your fellow
subscribers.

A wide variety of subjects are appropriate to be addressed in Togo-L
messages. These include: FoT announcements and publications; searching
for old friends; news reports
about Togo; development projects; NGO activities; Peace Corps/Togo; FoT
projects, scholarships, and flights; business and job opportunities;
politics; human rights; Internet and computing in Togo; letters from
Togo; and more.

FRIENDS OF TOGO, INC. was organized by returned Peace Corps Volunteers and staff who have served in Togo, West Africa. They are joined by family members and friends, by diplomats, aid workers, businesspeople, and missionaries who have served in Togo, by Togolese nationals living outside their
