About Kossi


A native of the village of Vogan-Yohonou, Mr. Zotoglo grew up in the capital city of Togo, Lome. After completion of his high school educations, Mr. Zotoglo enrolled at Bellevue University where he later earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2009. Mr. Zotoglo also holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a concentration in Health Promotion from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). He further pursued his medical training at the Florida Hospital University earning a Master of Medical Sciences degree in 2017. Mr. Zotoglo is a nationally certified PA specialized in Orthopedic Surgery. He is currently the Lead Orthopedic Surgery PA at the Nebraska Western-Iowa VA medical Center. He is a former recipient of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Cancer Research Training award, conducting a cervical cancer research field works at the Ocean Roads Cancer Institute in Dar Es Salaam, TZ. During his medical training in Florida, Mr. Zotoglo also completed clinical rotation works in the form of a Medical Mission Trip to Tegucigalpa, Honduras where his team — The AdventHealth Mission — provided a much needed healthcare.

Mr. Zotoglo has firm believe in the endless potentials of the Togolese child. He knows that one basic tool that is lacking in unleashing those potentials is access to adequate education under acceptable conditions. He co-founded Friends of Togo with the vision that every child in Togo, especially those in the inner cities and villages, have the tools and resources they need today for a bright and successful future. One such tool is basic education.
